Kaori is an automated online service provider (OSP) as defined in the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). We do not store, host, or upload any media files (videos, movies, episodes, etc.) on our servers or within our network infrastructure.

Our platform functions exclusively as a transient technical intermediary. We provide an automated index and database of anime content that is already publicly available on the Internet. Kaori acts in a manner similar to a search engine, indexing and linking to content hosted on external, third-party servers over which we have no control, influence, or oversight.

Consequently, Kaori cannot be held responsible for the legality, copyright compliance, or decency of content hosted on these third-party sites. We do not endorse, support, or guarantee the accuracy of any material linked through our platform.

Non-Profit & Ad-Free Project

Kaori is a passion project run by a group of students who love anime. We do not run this site for profit, and our primary goal is to provide a clean, ad-free experience for the community. We do not monetize the content indexed on our platform, and any donations received are used solely to cover our server and domain costs.

Reporting Infringement (DMCA Takedown)

If you believe that your copyrighted work is accessible via Kaori in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide our Designated Agent with the following information:

A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Counter-Notification

If you believe that your material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:

Your physical or electronic signature.
Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which the address is located.

Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, Kaori has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at Kaori's sole discretion, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. Kaori may also at its sole discretion limit access to the service and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
